Our Family bought Green Shutters in Williston, Florida. This building has so much history to Williston and has been 2 other restaurants prior as well. The passion for food is in the foundation of the building, for sure. Mom and Pop updated the building and brought an extra level of charm to the patrons. We want everyone to feel the love as soon as they step thru the doors. When you eat here, you are family!

Food is UNITY in the way that it connects us all around the world. We ALL eat. What we eat is what sets us apart. Be it for a belief system like when vegetarians choose to not eat animal protein, or for someone like me who can’t process sugar or complex carbs without some serious inflammation. This is why our menu is set up like an equal opportunity feeder- dishes will have vegetarian and keto alternatives.

The love of food has the power to make someone smile through their stomachs, to transport someone to a memory through their taste buds, and to simply nourish our bodies as a whole. Our goal is to make you feel like family when you dine with us. YOU and your dietary needs matter to us.

Our family had incredible matriarchs in the kitchen. Grandma Leila learned from her mother and taught us all so much. Dad inherited her gifts and made it his own by becoming a grill master in all the meats. Grandma Laiz learned from her mother and even more by having a dairy farm. Mom inherited her gifts, just wait until you taste her flan. The recipes from both sides of the family carry memories of our ancestors and we can’t wait to share it all with you.

That One Place is a dream come true for my parents, my husband, and I. We started out of the gate with Brunch hours and slowly evolved into fine dining.

History

That One Place was established in September, 2022 as a Brazilian/American Fusion brunch stop. Starting Jan 3rd, 2023, we evolved into a dinner experience where the menu changes daily. We have a small staff full of passion for food and hospitality. The rotating Chef’s menu is a plus for sustainability because we scout for the best ingredients and make them into the stars of our dishes. This is a great way to minimize waste and keeps the creativity of our Chef thrilling. Expect the unexpected at That One Place! These fusion dishes have Brazilian family recipes twists that will make your mouth water. We will still have vegetarian and keto options for the everchanging menu because your dietary needs matter. Our signature dish is the Churrasco. Say it with us: Chu (shoe) RRAS (ha-ask) Co (kho). Churrasco means barbecue; it means party of meats with our family and friends. We alternate the meats (like steak, chicken, pork, sausage, ribs, shrimp) we feature in this dish. This is the only dish that will always be on the menu every time you visit! It comes with rice pilaf OR potatoes and grilled green beans.

Meatloaf Wellington with beef gravy and creamy mashed taters
Chicken pie with Catupiry Cheese crust served with asparagus and garlic mashed taters

Grilled pork tenderloin, ribs and pineapple with collards and rice pilaf
Stuffed chicken breast smothered in a mushroom Alfredo sauce with a side of crispy Brussel sprouts
Chicken leg quarter a la Pomodoro sauce with rice pilaf and collards
Piggie, Piggie a la Vodka – lime pork tenderloin, honey baked ham, sauteed spinach, cavatappi pig tail pasta with a beautiful vodka pink sauce. Served with bread sticks

Bakery

The secret ingredient to baking is always LOVE.

Our bakery will always be stocked with different things daily, but fret not, whatever your favorites may be, you can make personal orders and they will be filled accordingly. One of Chef Ro’s favorite things to bake are Pakes (Cakes with pies inside) and Chakes (cakes with cheesecakes in the middle). There are endless possibilities of each like Lemon Cake with Blueberry pie inside, Kentucky butter cake with peach pie inside, spice cake with apple pie inside, Red velvet cake with cheesecake in the middle, Carrot cake with cheesecake in the middle, are just some examples.

We have keto (low carb, gluten free, sugar free, diabetic friendly) baked goods, Ketonian Nerds original recipes. We also have regular items. Come see what we will have daily, especially our cakes by the slice.
